Tips on when to visit during the holidays We know time is at a premium during the holidays so we wanted to give you some times on when to visit.

During the week we are usually slow, even during December, so feel free to come in any time! Friday Nights and Saturdays are busy, but typically we do not "fill up". 2pm-4pm is typically our busiest time on Saturdays so if you have a big group, be sure to call to give us a heads up so we can save a bigger table. Sundays are surprisingly slow during the December. If you don't want to watch football, I'd recommend coming on a Sunday. :)

Turnaround Time Our turnaround time for pottery is always week! We can rush pieces for a fee; however, we need a minimum of 3 days to ensure your piece does not suffer from any stress during the firing process.

Deadlines Last day to paint pottery and have it ready before Christmas is Dec 16th. Last day to paint pottery for a rush fee and have it ready for Christmas is Dec 20th. Last day for glass fusing to be guaranteed ready for Christmas is Dec 11th.

Good News! No More Studio Fees!

Most paint your own pottery stores work like this: You come in, you have to figure out: How do they charge? Is the studio fee based on the number of pieces? The amount of time I spend here? A percentage of the price of the piece? What does the studio consider a “child”? Does the parent get changed for sitting with their child? For helping with mistakes? What is too much help? Do I have enough money to cover tax? It’s so stressful! You shouldn’t have to be a math major to create a work of art! That’s why we’d like to announce our Frustration-Free Pricing at Half Baked Pottery & Gifts! We’ve eliminated the stress so you can come in, relax, and create! All of the prices at Half Baked Pottery include all the basic items you’ll need to create your piece  (glazes, use of hundreds of tools, firing, and sales tax). So come in and RELAX and make your masterpiece. Just one more reason Half Baked Pottery is the BEST studio around!
