Living Social FAQ We really want your Living Social experience to be the best experience we can offer! To that end, we have written a brief FAQ to help answer some common questions we receive and some questions I am anticipating. Q. Do I need a reservation? A. We always welcome walk-ins; however, groups of 5+ should call in advance to ensure availability. If you are unable to make your reservation, please call to cancel ASAP! We are a small business and often staff based on the number of reservations we have a given night/weekend. :) Q. How does my Living Social work? A. Your Living Social deal is worth $35 and can be used toward your entire bill (excluding tax). We have a $8/$6 per person studio fee that covers your paints, firing, etc. You also pay for the cost of your piece. Pieces start at $4 and we have many great pieces in the $10-$20 range. Q. Why can't I use my Living Social during weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas? A. Since the studio is often very busy during the weekends right before Christmas, we put blackout dates on the Living Social to ensure all of our customers will have the very best experience and service possible. (Warning: Due to the blackout dates, we are expecting Friday nights in December to be VERY busy. Please keep this in mind when you are planning your visit.) Q. Can I use my Living Social for Glass/Mosaic? A. Yes, you are welcome to use your Living Social to make a glass fusing or mosaic piece. Q. Can I get money back? A. If you decide you do not want to use your Living Social, you may contact Living Social for a full refund. You may not receive money back on the promotional amount. Q. Can I use my Living Social for fundraisers? A. Yes, we will accept Living Socials for fundraisers; however, we would strongly encourage you not to spend them for these events. These promotional coupons will not generate any money for the cause because they are so heavily discounted. Q. Can I use other discounts or coupons with my Living Social? A. Sorry, due to the heavily discounted nature of the Living Social Coupons, we cannot accept any other discounts, promotions, or coupons with them. Q. Why do I have to pay Sales Tax? A. The State of Indiana requires us to collect tax on everything in our store that is sold to residents. Q. How does Living Social work (from a business perspective)? A. We've included this because we've had a number of conversations with customers who are curious about how daily deals work from a business point of view. HowStuffWorks.com has a decent and relatively unbiased article that explains how Groupon (and Groupon-like) deals work for businesses. Q. Can I use my Living Social for the upcoming Santa & Me events? A. Yes; however, the prices posted for this event are discounted. Living Social coupons cannot be used with discounts, so you will have to use your Living Social toward the full price of the event. This is still a great deal, you just can't double your discounts. |
