Our studio is a great place for everyone. We offer pottery to paint, glass fusing, and classes in clay and silver clay jewelry. Bring the family and make memories or come in with your girl friends and spend some quality time together. You are always welcome to bring food and drinks and make it a party. We offer over 200 different items to paint including: bowls, mugs, cups, plates, banks, boxes, picture frames, hanging plaques, figurines, vases, ring holders, tea pots, cookie jars, kitchen items and much more!

Our Mission To provide a creative destination for kids and adults of all skill levels to discover and develop their artistic potential, interact with others, escape the pressures of everyday life, and create a unique and lasting artifact.

Our Values 1. Do the right thing. 2. Do your best. 3. Treat others the way you'd like to be treated.

The Environment We recycle! We recycle cans, bottles, and paper that comes into the studio. We also recycle almost all the materials used to pack and ship our stock to the store. More than 50% of the "trash" that comes into the store, leaves as recycling!

Who We Are

Meet the Staff!

Christen - Owner

Christen comes from a family of entrepreneurs. She purchased Kiln Creations - Broad Ripple in January 2010 and changed the name to Half Baked Pottery & Gifts. Since that time, running the store has been everything she hoped it would be. Christen has worked with pottery for over 17 years, so becoming the owner of Half Baked Pottery & Gifts has been a wonderful dream that combines her interest with her education. Christen is an Indianapolis native. She graduated from Pike High School in 1998. Christen has a BA from Indiana University and an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She married her wonderfully understanding husband March 2010. Fun Facts: Christen loves to travel and has visited over 30 countries on 5 continents! She also has 2 spoiled cats named Duke and Rajah.
